Our story
A home base for local makers
MakerRoute takes a maker's goods and puts them on an optimized route from one central hub straight to a customer's door. It's the secure storage, storefront, and same-hour delivery that independent creators have never had in one place.
Why we're building it
When Painted Tree Boutiques abruptly closed more than 60 nationwide locations in April 2026, small vendors were given days to retrieve their merchandise before the doors locked — losing sales, deposits, and the only shelves they had. In the East Valley around Queen Creek, that left a wave of high-inventory makers with nowhere secure to store or sell their goods.
At the same time, shoppers had no single place to buy curated, local artisan goods — from a small-batch candle to a high-ticket canvas — and have them delivered the same hour. MakerRoute is purpose-built to solve both problems at once.
The name says it all
Maker + Route. We take a maker's goods and put them on an optimized route to the customer's door. Because all inventory lives in one building, we batch every order into a single delivery — eliminating the multi-vendor delivery-fee trap that breaks every decentralized competitor.
Makers drop off once — no weekend teardown. We barcode and shelve each item, list it on the local storefront 24/7, and route it to a doorstep in under an hour when it sells.
What makes us different
Not a 3PL. Not just an app.
MakerRoute sits at the intersection of secure micro-warehousing, a curated local marketplace, and on-demand delivery — combined for the first time, specifically for independent creators.
Fulfillment-first, not software-only
Competitors bolt a storefront onto a maker's garage. We centralize inventory in one hub so every order is a clean single-pickup run — and the delivery math actually works.
Built for high-ticket makers
From a $15 jar of honey to a $300 custom painting, our Gallery tier and white-glove packaging are designed for fragile, premium, one-of-a-kind pieces.
It's still your inventory
Sell online 24/7 and pull stock for a weekend market whenever you want. Our smart check-in/check-out keeps both channels perfectly in sync.
Made to grow with its town
A repeatable, software-driven playbook means MakerRoute can open in the next suburb under one trusted national brand — rooted locally at city.makerroute.com.
Where we're starting
Queen Creek first — your town next
